Yes, Lucas Bravo Is Everything You’d Hoped He Would Be (And Then Some)

The breakout star of Emily In Paris talks exclusively to ELLE about season two, star signs and what he learnt from Sex and the City.
For those who believe in the power of first impressions, we are pleased to assure you that Lucas Bravo makes a very good one.

And, no, we’re not just talking about Bravo as the dreamy chef Gabriel opposite Lily Collins in the hit Netflix series Emily In Paris. We’re talking about the man himself, who spoke to ELLE, all the way from Budapest, Hungary, where he’s currently shooting his upcoming film, Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris.

Chatting everything from Emily in Paris season two (series spoilers ahead!), to what he learnt from watching Sex and the City (12 times over), and all things astrology (zodiac calculators may have been involved), keep reading for our exclusive catch-up with the man of the moment, Lucas Bravo.

ELLE: Huge congratulations on show… I think it is quite literally an overnight success! How does it feel to be seeing your name all over the internet and have your Instagram blowing up? Was there a specific moment when it hit you that Emily In Paris has captivated millions of people around the world?
Lucas Bravo: I think everybody from the cast and crew was really surprised. You know, when we shot it, we were really proud of the project, we had so much fun and were close at the end of it, and hoped that the energy would translate on screen, but you can never predict how people are going to receive it.

So, it was a huge surprise for all of us. We all talked about it… Lily [Collins], Ashley [Park], everybody, we were all so pleased because not only it worked worldwide, but the way people received it… with such respect and telling us how it allowed them to escape their routine from this crazy year we’re all having.
